Vladislav ATANASOV
Argentier
Professionnel du Vin

Vladislav Atanasov is a Bulgarian winegrower, entrepreneur, and founder of Clos Bibliothèque, one of Bulgaria’s most distinctive boutique wine estates. Following more than two decades in senior international management, including leadership roles within the European automotive industry, he redirected his professional experience toward viticulture, fine wine, and the development of a winery founded on precision, sustainability, and respect for terroir.

He established Clos Bibliothèque near the village of Nevsha in northeastern Bulgaria, an area defined by limestone-rich soils and a long agricultural and cultural history. The estate follows an exacting viticultural philosophy based on environmentally responsible farming, massal selection, high-density planting, meticulous vineyard management, and limited production. Its wines are created to express the individuality of the site while demonstrating the international potential of contemporary Bulgarian winemaking.

Under Vladislav Atanasov’s direction, Clos Bibliothèque has developed a portfolio of refined, terroir-driven wines and has gained increasing recognition among international wine professionals, critics, sommeliers, and fine-dining establishments. The estate has represented Bulgaria at important international wine events and continues to contribute to the growing reputation of Bulgarian wine beyond the country’s borders.

His work is driven by a conviction that exceptional wine begins in the vineyard and requires patience, discipline, technical knowledge, and an uncompromising commitment to quality. Through Clos Bibliothèque, he seeks to unite Bulgaria’s ancient winemaking heritage with contemporary European standards of viticulture and cellar craftsmanship.

Vladislav Atanasov serves as Argentier of the Bailliage de Bulgarie of La Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, forming part of the National Committee alongside the Bailli Délégué, the Chancelier, and the other national officers. His appointment as Argentier has been publicly announced as part of the leadership of the newly established Bulgarian Bailliage.
